We have some new books in stock.

The much awaited new Cookie A. book,  Knit. Sock. Love has arrived and it’s really lovely. She has published it herself but the quality is unsurpassed by any of the big name published books. She’s used lots of test knitters, so the patterns should be error proof.

Cookie herself will be at the shop on February 6th to sign copies of her book and show samples. Please come along, we will have cookies and friendly chat on hand. I’ll give you more details closer to the date.

Stephen West’s new book, Westknits One is in the shop.

The book is filled with Stephen’s wonderful unisex patterns. A neck scarf or hat designed by Stephen makes a great quick gift or selfish knit. It’s almost worth having one on the needles all the time just to have gifts at the ready.

Stephen has come into the shop a couple of times, since moving to Amsterdam. He is delightful and so tall he can reach the top shelf without our ladder. We were very impressed!
