You know we love Koigu yarns at Loop! We featured them in our Babette blanket and we have lots of store samples knit in Koigu. Including this sock yarn baby sweater which walked out of the shop, but we loved it so much, we reknit the sample. Well, Koigu love us too and they’re coming to visit! If you popped into Loop during our first three weeks of opening, you might have seen my Babette blanket in progress. I’ve been crocheting squares in spare moments, for the last six weeks. Well, it’s finally finished… Ta Da! That’s it, snuggled up in my favourite shop chair with  crochet Bambi. It was so much fun to make! Almost every square was a different combination and sequence of colours, so it never got boring. If you haven’t heard already, Loop is moving to a big new shop! All four floors of this Camden Passage building will be ours! Mwaa, haa, haa, haa!!! We’ll miss Cross Street, but Camden Passage, an old antique district of Islington, has its own charms (including hand-made chocolates, vintage buttons and clothing, and The Elk in the Woods). The main reason for our move is to make more space for all the lovely goodies we carry. We are bursting at the seams of our current shop.
