Am I the only person on the planet who hates variegated yarn?

It looks lovely in a ball and usually horrible knitted up – especially lace or cables.

  2. Frances says:

I agree with your experience of using variegated yarns. My solution because I can’t resist the colour combinations is to knit socks, cowels, gloves, and scarves with these yarns. Or, crochet granny squares. The advantage with granny squares is you don’t have to keep changing your yarn colour.

  3. Frances says:

I have knitted with pure cotton in the past and the item kept on stretching till the fit was unflattering. I am hesitant to try out this linen yarn. I must say the colours are lovely.
