Loop’s 10 – It’s Nearly Here!
The wait is nearly over! The custom colours are filling up the shelves in the shop and already finding new homes, so now we’re just counting down the days until our anniversary publication Loop’s 10 arrives. It’s your last chance to take advantage of our pre-order discount that gives you 10% off the cost of the book.
We are accepting pre-orders until midnight 31st August, so be sure to get your order in this weekend. Now we’ve revealed all the patterns and the yarns, let’s have a little reminder of the delights we have in store for you!
All the patterns are now available to view on Ravelry, so if you are curious for more details, click on the pattern name to view the design page. You can also find the link to each of the yarns that now include our own special custom colour.
Don’t worry if you missed out the delivery of your new favourite colour the first time round, we have double quantities on order of those yarns that flew out the door! Just send our friendly Loopettes an email at firstname.lastname@example.org if you want to be notified when a colour comes back into stock.
The cosy Autumn Leaf Shawl by Paulina Popiolek . This takes three skeins of the Shilasdair Luxury 4ply, show in ‘Autumn Leaves’ and our custom colour ‘Highland Twylight’ (which should be arriving any day now!)
Islington Shawl by Kirsten Kapur takes just one skein of each colour in the DyeForYarn Merino Merino Silk Fingering shown here in ‘Bat in a Dark Mood’ and the custom colour ‘Golden
Beehive’ – which has also been used for another of Rachel Atkison’s patterns Whimsy Garland, which you can spot on the models knees!
Rosemaling Mitts by Dottie Angel are easy peasy and use one skein of The Uncommon Thread Lush Worsted in ‘Turbillion’ with embroidery additions courtesy of Pigeonroof Studios Mini Skein Set in ‘Pistachio’ and other 4ply scraps.
Thank you again to all the designers and dyers who have been involved in the project, and of course a huge thanks to all of you who have supported Loop for the past ten years! We hope you enjoy the book.
We’ll be posting out the pre-orders as soon as the book arrives, but if you are taking part in The Great London Yarn Crawl, you’ll be able to pick up a copy there too!
