Maison Sajou was founded in 1828 by Jacques-Simon Sajou with the vision of selling products for embroidery, tapestry, bobbin lace, weaving and crochet. Loop is proud to stock a beautiful range of the Sajou scissors, wooden pin cushions and tape measures, the whole range of Laine Saint-Pierre embroidery/darning threads and their very special sewing boxes brimming with amazing haberdashery. Any of these treasures would be the cherry on top of a Christmas present!

Named after the Norwegian word for happiness, LYKKE Crafts combine high quality materials and thoughtful design to produce super beautiful, durable, happy-making knitting needles. Loop is proud to carry the Driftwood range of beautiful complete sets of interchangeable needles in two sizes, DPN Sets in two sizes, crochet hook sets and straight needle sets as well as replacement accessories. If you have a knitter or crocheter in your life, a set of Lykke needles would be the prefect gift — they are just exquisite!

Sophie Digard

The very special and talented Sophie Digard always produces such beautiful and wonderfully detailed treasures. We have a range of her handmade goods in the shop, any of which would make a wonderful heirloom gift.

Yarn

At Loop we are proud to stock a wide range of special yarn from all over the world! From the vibrant, London-dyed Qing Fibre to the lustrous Twirl from California’s Napa Valley. We have just received more Madelinetosh, too! With over 100 colours, you’d be hard-pressed not to find the perfect hue. And of course La Bien Aimee, hand dyed in small batches in Paris, is always a favourite.

If you’re looking for a British yarn, we have a wonderful range to choose from. From the rustic and natural colours of Daughter of a Shepherd to the silky, soft tones of Old Maiden Aunt. Or what about something naturally dyed? Moel View is a natural dye studio who work with the finest wool and yarn, pairing them with botanical extracts and locally foraged plants, barks and roots to create products that enhance and inspire. And at The Little Grey Sheep everything is done in the UK from start to finish — lambing, making the hay they feed, through to the scouring (washing) plant and spinning mill, right back to the hand dyeing on the farm.
