Last Day on Cross Street

Today, Sunday June 13th, is our  last open day on Cross Street. At 5:00pm, we shut shop here, for the last time.

Starting tomorrow morning, we’ll be packing our yarn bags and moving to our new shop, in Camden Passage, Islington.

I’ll take some sneak preview pictures of our moving this week… just little ones ~ I don’t want to spoil all the surprises. Come for the big reveal on Saturday the 19th!

For now I’ll leave you with this preview of some of our amazing new buttons. Our haberdashery is growing. We want to be the first stop in London, for really special buttons.

This little shell button has a laser cut image of a deer (we call it the bambi button) and comes in six pretty colours. I’m planning some special baby sweaters, in Koigu, with these buttons.

We went button shopping in Bavaria and you can tell.

We brought back lots of hunt themed buttons. This engraved mother of pearl button has a hound leaping across it. We have fox and stag ones too. I love the way this pearl colour looks on the grey Allino I used to make the Layering Shrug. Hmm, I’m tempted to make…Must focus on the moving!

Lots more new buttons in store and online soon.

See you Saturday! Here’s how to find us…
