New Collections from a Few of Our Favourite Designers!

This week we are so happy to welcome beautiful goodies from Miesje Chafer, Julie Arkell, and Amanda Banham. We love what these three incredible women do with their craft and we can’t wait to share their wonderful work with you.

Miesje Chafer Project Bags

Whether you’re looking to keep your projects safe on the go or stylishly store your works in progress at home, Miesje Chafer has you covered. In a new line of bold, bright Project Bags just for Loop, Miesje combines eye-catching form with function.

These handmade bags are super sturdy. Strong handles make it easy to carry even the weightiest of woollen works and a drawstring closure keeps your skeins secure, even while your needles are clicking.

Miesje’s bright, beautiful fabric designs bring these bags to life!

Miesje’s original fabric patterns are printed on organic Panama cotton and each bag is fully lined with organic natural cotton as well. These lovely pieces are selling fast, but Miesje has already started making more! If any show as ‘sold out’ on the website we will have more stock within the next few weeks. You can sign up to receive stock updates by clicking “notify me when available” on our shop page.

New Collection by Julie Arkell

Just a few of the beautiful creations in Julie Arkell’s latest collection for Loop

Julie Arkell‘s wonderfully whimsical creations always take our breath away. Julie’s thought-provoking designs are so beautifully engaged with poetry, craft, and lore that you just can’t help but fall for them. The latest collection to land in the shop features Julie’s signature critters as well as some little lambs that are just to die for. Using a combination of papier-mâché, textiles, and stitching techniques, Julie crafts the most wonderful characters who will inspire you for years to come.

New Collection by Amanda Banham

Like Julie Arkell, Amanda Banham uses mixed media to create works that are deeply imbued with meaning and memory. Her new collection of Darned Houses, which launch on our website today, celebrate the rich texture of community and the individuals who come together to create it. Fired using the raku technique, Amanda’s ceramic houses for Loop feature darned roofs and pops of colour. Each one has a personality that is totally unique. We just love having Amanda’s work in the shop.
