Dandelion Cowls Free Pattern

When Dandelion Rosy Sport came to Loop, we got very excited about the beautiful hand-dyed colours of this organic merino yarn. We knit lots of pretty swatches in the “Wandering Leaves” stitch to show off  the range of 27 colours! Hand-dyed by Anna Strandberg in Stockholm, Sweden, Loop is proud to be the London stockist of this beautiful yarn. Now we have turned our swatch samples into a free cowl pattern in three sizes!

mYak Yarn has arrived at Loop and we’re thrilled! We are the exclusive UK stockists of this incredible range of yarns. This range of subtle, luxurious, elegant yarns comes in a beautiful colour palette. Made of all natural fibres, not only is the yarn beautiful, but it’s ethically sourced and gathered. Paola, the owner behind mYak, spent many years living and working on the Tibetan Plateau and works directly with the yak herders.

Introducing our latest free pattern, the Cecelia Cowl! This beautiful knit uses almost an entire ball of Freia Super Bulky Ombre so there are minimal leftovers, plus it’s extra cosy! Make sure to read to the end of the post to find out how you could win one! Created exclusively for Loop by Rachel Atkinson, designer, tech editor and long time friend of Loop who was inspired by Cecelia Campochiaro’s book ‘Sequence Knitting’ – hence the name! Many thanks to Rachel Atkinson for the pattern, Susan Cropper for styling and Kristin Perers for her stunning photography.
