Tiny Tassels for Winter

Tiny Tassels for Winter

A very special new colourway of the long-time Loop favourite Tiny Tassels Shawl Kit is launching today!

The new version combines six complementary colours of hand-dyed yarns from two incredible dyers: La Bien Aimee and Madelinetosh. La Bien Aimee Merino Singles in the delicate neutral pink colour Sansa forms the base of this shawl, with Madelinetosh Merino Light colours Fading Daydream, Farmhouse White, Ironwood, Pink Mist Smoke Tree and Thyme for the tassels. We are wild about how these colours play off one another.

La Bien Aimee’s Merino skeins are unbelievably soft and make a perfect shawl you’ll want to keep around your shoulders all the time. The base yarn takes colour beautifully, producing Sansa’s delicate but rich hue. This is a neutral like you’ve never seen before. And Madelinetosh Merino Light makes the perfect pops of colour to complement this gorgeous base. All the colours contain silvery winter tones, lending a sheen reminiscent of bright cold mornings.

We love the clever method used for these tassels which you can perfect by following our tutorial on how to create these fun, feisty accents. Our kit includes everything you need to create this lovely piece: a full skein of La Bien Aimee Merino Singles Sansa and mini cakes of the five Madelinetosh Merino Light colours for the tassels, a printed pattern, and a loop cotton bag.
