An Abundance of Bunnies Means Springtime at Loop!

An Abundance of Bunnies Means Springtime at Loop!

Hippity hop! Just in time for Easter, we’re giddy with joy this week to bring you a brand new crochet bunny kit — made just for Loop by our friends at TOFT!

The Juliet Bunny is a sweet, charming character who is sure to warm your heart long after the egg hunt is over. Her lovely embroidered details make this bunny a timeless treasure who will be adored by the whole family — and even generations to come. The process of making the Juliet Bunny is a total joy. A calming, meditative crochet for experienced crafters, and an engaging opportunity to make something really wonderful for those just getting started.

It’s so special to have the Juliet Bunny Kit made specially for Loop by TOFT!

The Juliet Bunny Kit contains absolutely everything you’ll need to make your very own version: a pattern, four balls of lovely yarn for the body and embroidery, toy stuffing, and even a crochet hook and embroidery needle! This is a delightful project for confident beginners to advanced crocheters, so whether you want to make Juliet for a friend or slip the kit into the Easter basket of a budding crafter, she’s sure to bring joy!

Hopping down the bunny trail! The Juliet Bunny is the perfect Easter treat!

Loop’s Favourite Bunnies

If you’re looking for other ways to hop into the spirit of the season, there is no shortage of bunny-themed crafting magic at Loop! Over the years we’ve fallen in love with so many sweet bunny patterns and kits. Corinne Lapierre’s Bunnies Felt Kit gives you the materials and instructions to create a whole menagerie of felt friends to keep you company through Easter and beyond! We adore the Lopsy Rabbit pattern, designed for us by Thandi Pritchard and available as a PDF download or a printed pattern. And of course one of our signature patterns, which we re-released for our 20th anniversary last year, is Syd the Rabbit. Designed by Claire Montgomerie when she worked in the shop, Syd has been beloved by many generations of Loopettes. Make your own Syd with our Kit or Printed Pattern!

One of our favourite ways to bring some bunny joy to any piece is by adding a beautiful button. We have so many lovely options to choose from. Our Happy Pop Bunny Buttons are a stellar three-dimensional option, with a golden bunny on a floral background. If these don’t scream springtime joy we don’t know what will! We also have more understated Gold Bunny Buttons, featuring a gold bunny surrounded by a translucent button. These would be great to bring a little playfulness to a sophisticated piece. Our Rabbit Buttons take the shape of a bunny face — ears and all — and would be perfect for children’s clothing, as would the Tree with Deer and Rabbit Buttons, which depict a sweet countryside scene.

We have loads of charming emblems of spring in all our crafty bits and bobs. For a springtime critter you can move from outfit to outfit — no sewing required — the stately Bronze Hare Brooch is just the ticket! And to liven up your haberdashery basket, look no further than Gilded Hare Scissors.

More Mina Perhonen Fabric Swatches

One thing is for sure: you all love Mina Perhonen Fabric Swatches as much as we do! These always fly out the door almost as soon as they land, and it’s no wonder why — between the exquisite design, one-of-a-kind combos, and ethos of savoring every scrap, these bundles are just the kind of thing this community is all about! The bundles we told you about last week are already gone, but we’re in luck! This week a whole new selection has landed, and it’s every bit as inspiring and gorgeous.

More Embroidered Sophie Kits!

Our Embroidered Sophie Kits continue to sell like hotcakes! It brings us so much joy that you all love this Loop-y take on PetiteKnit’s classic scarflette. We’ve restocked most of the kit colours, but we have no idea how long they’ll hang around, so act fast! We do have plenty Sophie Scarf Printed Patterns, so if you’d like to choose your own colours of Hedgehog Fibres Tweedy and CaMaRose Midnatssol, you can buy à la carte and make your own unique version! If you order separately you won’t get the embroidery template that’s included with the kit, but you can create an embroidered motif of your own or use one of the embellishments for embroidering on knits from another source, like Judit Gummlich’s great book Embroidery on Knits!
