We have some true beauties in the shop this week! Old favourites and new treasures are coming together to get us excited for our next projects — plus, our very special visit from Celia Pym this weekend promises to be hugely inspiring.

One of the best things we get to do at Loop is collect the most gorgeous materials and handmade beauties from near and far and bring them all to the shop. We genuinely love everything we sell, so it’s a very easy thing to do!

Winter is a season that means so many different things to us. It’s a time of festivity, bright sparkly lights, and time with loved ones, and also a time of cosy evenings, early sunsets, and retreat. All these elements combine to make it a magical season for creativity, and we always spend winter falling even more deeply in love with craft!

The daylight is dwindling, there’s a chill in the air, and everywhere we go around London twinkly lights are starting to appear hung on streetlights and strung across alleys. There’s no denying it: the holidays are here!

One of the things we love most about this community is how much it loves to give back. By its very nature crafting brings us into contact with the physical world around us. The fact that we get to use our craft to improve the physical realities of people everywhere is just beautiful.

This summer we’re marking our 20th anniversary! We’re honestly misty-eyed when we think about how far we’ve come and what we’ve all created together in that time, from precious memories to stunning stitches. To celebrate, we’re bringing you a series of specials, spotlighting some of our dearest friends and favourite artists with a gobsmacking collection of new treasures.
