Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! We hope you’ve all had happy holidays and are looking forward to a new year of yarns, patterns and lots of quality knitting time!

For 2016 we thought we’d begin with one of our highlights from last year. To celebrate our 10th anniversary, Nathalie Lete came to visit and spent a Saturday morning delicately decorating our window. It really was a joy to watch this talented artist, but don’t worry if you missed it, you can relive it all again!

Huge thanks to Titus Copley-Smith of Titus Films for his work on the video, to the band Khruangbin for kindly letting us use their music (taken from their album The Universe Smiles Upon You) and especially Nathalie Lete, for coming all the way from Paris to share the magic of her work with us. We have Nathalie’s book as well as many of her prints and postcards available via our online shop.

Behind the scenes at Loop we’re busy adding the finishing touches to two beautiful new patterns. We’ve collaborated with top designers Bristol Ivy and Justyna Lorkowska (LetesKnits) who have been working their magic with some beautiful yarns, so we’ll be bringing you these exclusive patterns later this year. We’ll soon have news of the big reveal of our new website, as well keeping you up-to-date with new yarns, workshops and knitterly delights from the shop.
