Glittering New Madelinetosh
You may think of summer as a slow time for knitting but we have so many tempting new treats in shop ~ perfect for light summer knitting projects!
Madelinetosh is one of our best selling yarns, so we are thrilled to have a new Madelinetosh base yarn! And many mouth watering new colours in Prairie, Pashmina, Merino Light, Twist Light, and Tosh DK! All are dyed by hand in Texas, from ethically sourced South African wool.
We’ve put together some beautiful photographs of pairings of the new colours, in case you can’t make it into the shop to see them for yourself.
New to the Madelinetosh range is Holo Glitter + Merino Light! It’s Merino Light but with sparkle in the form of stellina glitter.
Merino Light is the best selling Madelinetosh yarn; it’s so versatile. It makes stunning shawls, but is also great for light sweaters like Isabell Kraemer’s Dexter or the lacy cardigan Hitofude by Hiroko Fukatsu.
Imagine how beautiful it is with an added glint of sparkle!
Perfect for lace shawls like or our free Beginner’s Lace Shawl, or try one with beads like Boo Knit’s Out of Darkness.
Holo Glitter + Twist Light is 90% Merino wool (superwash), 8% Acrylic and 2% Stellia. The glitter is very subtle and soft. We can’t wait to see what you make with it!
New Madelinetosh Colours
We have so many stunning new colours of Madelinetosh yarns!

We have 13 new Prairie colours and 18 new Pashmina colours!
Look at how beautifully they take the autumnal colours of Upstate!
We love these toasty burnt peaches and oranges.
We have 32 new Merino Light colours, bringing the total to 130 colours! Wow!
34 new colours of Twist Light and 21 new colours in Tosh DK!
Here are some colour combinations we love:
For those of you who love a good grey, how about these?
That Telegraph Wire colour reminds me of Cosmo the cat.
We hope you love all of these gorgeous new colours as much as we do! Happy summer knitting!
P.S: Just In!
Just as we were signing off this post, the kits for the Pashmina version of the Tiny Tassels pattern became available. These are a dressier, more luxurious version of our popular Tiny Tassels kit in 3 colourways of exquisite Madelinetosh Pashmina with Koigu.
