A Box of Embroidery + Darning Treasure from Loop!

Last week we teased a very special something coming in the stitching department, and today we’re thrilled to introduce the brand new Loop Box of Embroidery + Darning Treasure!

Our haberdashery collection is one of our favourite things to curate, and we know from experience the bits and bobs we bring together are some of the most coveted items in the shop. These brand new Embroidery & Mending Boxes have been a total labour of joy and love to bring you some of our favourite pieces in one pretty package.

These Loop Embroidery & Mending Boxes are packed full of stitching treasure that will fit seamlessly into the collection of an experienced crafter or act as the perfect starter kit for someone just setting out. This veritable cornucopia of stitching goodies includes a Stitch School x Loop guide to 25 essential embroidery stitches, gorgeous threads from Laines Vilaines and Sajou, super cute Flower Power Snips, plus all the essential tools of the trade (a wooden darning egg, darning needles, embroidery hoop, threader). Each box also contains a totally unique Minä Perhonen Fabric Swatch Set and a specially designed Loop Treasure Haberdashery Pouch (more on that later).

Even the boxes themselves we love so much, and we hope they become the cornerstone in many a craft workshop, with new pieces added over time so they become an expression of each crafter’s unique style and creativity. After a while no two of these boxes will be exactly alike, and we love that!

Cultivate: Knitting the Beauty of Nature

If ever there were a collaboration to set our hearts aflutter it’s this one: Our dear friend Dee Hardwicke has teamed up with Jonna Helin of Laine Publishing to bring the knitting world a book of 20 patterns celebrating the beauty and inspiration of our everyday surroundings. Dee’s work is so distinctive and unique, and we’ve been super lucky to bring her creative eye into the shop over the years. Jonna is the creative genius behind so many of our favourite knitting books and magazines and a fabulous designer in her own right. The combination of Dee’s intricate, tapestry-like work with Jonna’s timeless sensibilities makes for some truly special patterns. And as if that wasn’t enough to love, some of our favourite yarns like La Bien Aimée Merino Singles and Soyeux as well as Biches & Bûches Le Gros Silk Mohair are used in these patterns. Plus, a lot of them call for mohair silk yarns, for which Ito Sensai, Gepard Kid Seta, of Isager Silk Mohair, and tons of other yarns at Loop would be great options. As luck would have it, we’ve just received 23 fantastic new colours of Soyeux, bringing the total number of Soyeux colours in stock to a whopping 61.
