Hello!
Learning to crochet has been on my life bucket list for years, and this was the year I finally put down my needles and picked up the hook! I started with some simple chunky storage baskets and bags (easy to make Christmas gifts for my nieces and nephews!) and am now fully eyeing up he granny square hexagon cardigans, blankets, homeware (coasters are ‘on my hook’ at the moment for my brothers gift)! Hell, I’m even tempted to try amigurumi!!
So 2024 was year of the crochet for me, and I’d love to win the Loop gift card to equip myself with more than just the one hook size! I’m a Chiaogoo knitter, so would love to try their hooks maybe, but to come in to your London shop and try a few types is the plan.
Tunisian crochet could be 2025’s challenge, but I’m also super excited to get on with knitting my Gansey (longtime WIP) and spinning all my Jacob fleece. So those beautiful acorn stitch markers might also accidently fall into my shopping basket!!
Merry Christmas and festivities to all you beautiful crafty people at Loop x
Hoping to visit the UK this year and Loop will be top of list.
A purchase of something from Julie Arkell would be wonderful, or better yet, attend a class! I missed the chance to attend a workshop when she was teaching at a yarn shop 1 hour from my city (in Ontario, Canada). I realized this as she was literally teaching the class!!
In the meantime, I await the arrival of my Winter Holiday Box caught up in our Canada Post strike! It will be an extra special treat.
Wishing everyone Happy Christmas!
I would have a very hard time choosing from all the gorgeous goodies you sell at Loop! However, I have long been eyeing those cute bird and flower power scissors – I would finally treat myself to a pair. I need some wooden cable needles and I love my shawl/kilt pin in metallic rose so much I would treat myself to another simple yet beautiful pin. And finally, I would get some of those cuuutest metallic mushroom buttons for a cardigan I am planning to knit in 2025. But seriously, you stock so many utterly beautiful (and practical!) things I would struggle choosing just a few! Thank you for this special giveaway, wishing you a wonderful festive season and all the best in 2025! xx

A cart full of (Vi)laines would be the first thing I bought with a £50 gift card
Top of my wish list is a Mette Mehlsen Flower Power Crochet Scarf Kit in the Autumn colour way. It’s been on my wish list for so long – it’s just so very beautiful.
Top of my wishlist would be the acorn stitch markers for my lovely daughter Casey!! She’s taught herself to knit with circular needles and has now taught me too! She definitely deserves some gorgeous stitch markers so they’re up there for me!!
Oh my! If I had a Loop gift card, I think I would head to the Haberdashery department!
What could be better than a giveaway from my favourite yarn shop, Loop!
Oh my goodness where to start with my wish list. So much to choose from. But I think my top three items would have to be:
An Osaka Scarf Kit – I already have one but would absolutely love another
La Bien Aimee’s yarn has to be there so my second and third choices (and fourth and fifth!) would have to be a selection of Soyeux, Kumo and Cashmerino yarns.
If I was lucky enough to win I would love to buy some hand embroidery threads, especially the hand dyed threads. Such beautiful colours. Sending love and best wishes for Christmas and the New Year.
I would love some La Bien Aimee yarn or a project bag . Joyeux Noël

I am fairly new to knitting. The learner in me says keep it simple. The enthusiast in me wants circular needles and bamboo yarn.
I would choose one of the Re designed project cases. Small but perfectly formed!
I thought about my answer whilst dreaming I won the generous gift card. The choices were many but I feel I would put the money towards buying the Clover yarn winder. My father winds my yarn and the fact it would bring extra comfort to the process and I then may be able to wind some myself as my wrists cannot cope with the one we have at the moment.
If this was sold out then I would love some haberdashery/buttons to treasure in a notions pouch
Orkney Angora, and more Orkney Angora!
I would love to treat myself to some Qing Fibre Melted Baby Suri which I otherwise wouldn’t quite be able to justify!

Oh to choose! I would love to attend a Julie Arkell workshop..in awe!
I’d love to put it towards a Re: Designed bag – l’ve been coveting them for ages but alas, I don’t think Santa got the hint. Otherwise, my one true love…pretty sock yarn (maybe referring to sock yarn as my one true love is why Santa isn’t getting me a Re:Designed bag )

Top of my Loop Wishlist is a project case. I just can’t decide which one is my favourite ❤️. They are all so beautiful! Xxx
Should I be lucky enough to win I would I would first spend hours of sheer bliss investigating every item in your shop online. I might then attempt to convince my sweet husband that a trip to London should be in order. In the end, either way, I would end up buying many more items than I intended because everything you offer is too lovely!
I’d save it for one of those dreary days then come up to the shop and bathe in all the colour and excitement of different things. It would take me hours to decide exactly what would be coming home with me – but that’s part of the joy of Loop!
Merry Christmas!
An acorn stitch marker case for my crochet mini sweaters with fiddly sleeves! I adore them!!
I want to learn how to stitch so would buy some of your lovely stitching kits ❤️
Well now you’ve introduced me to Grey Level Knits it would have to be Gepard Teddy. But just wandering round your beautiful shop is an absolute treat and it’s been ages since I came in for the whole sensory experience!
I have been planning to make a beautifully warm winter sweater, so I think I’d probably buy some Gepard Woolia and Kid Seta.

There are so many gorgeous goodies in your shop it makes it hard to choose.! If I won a gift card top of my list would be some Borgo d’Pazzi Bibi yarn – such exciting possibilities!
Merry Christmas x
I am so pleased I signed up to the blog for a chance to win, having enjoyed reading some previous blogs. I thought, if I was lucky I would choose a Late Bloomer mitten kit. However now I am very tempted by the Loop’s blanket kit in the new CaMaRose Løvfald!
If I won, I’d love to get the book A Knitting Life 3. And I’m sure I’d add some other little bits :) happy holidays!
I would love an item from Sophie Digard collection.
The top of list is the Loop Blanket. My grandmother, originally from Colchester, knit all of her great grandchildren a baby blanket. They are keepsakes and filled with love. I would like to honor her tradition.

I’d love enough wool for a double sized blanket
I love a good knitting bag so I would probably choose one from amazing range. Thank you.
I really love everything in your shop, but some new skeins from Qing fibre would be great!
Visiting your shop is on my bucket list.
It’s quite a trip from the east coast of Australia, but how much fun would it be to explain to my hubby that I had won a voucher and that really, the best way to spend it would be to go into your physical store. Think of the postage I could save!
I would put the winnings towards either a Julie Arkel workshop or a book or kit by Tomomi Minura.

Gosh, it’s so hard to decide. If I’d be fortunate to win a gift card, I might purchase the lovely Au Ver a Soie for Loop Wool Embroidery Set to practice from the Judit Gummlich book I purchased from you earlier this year. Warm holiday wishes for all at Loop.

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year.
Wishing you all a happy new year. My list of options for a gift card is long but I think Dee Hardwicke’s latest book is at the top!
Thanks for offering the giveaway. I’ve always avoided making garments with wool yarn as my skin is irritated by it. However I still yearn for it. Now’s the time for me to try again. I’d put the giftcard towards some of your gorgeous yarn, the choice guided by Loop.
There are so many beautiful things in your shop I would have to have a serious look, but a tiny tassel scarf comes to mind or a Mabel cardigan maybe.
I would love to treat myself to some Qing Fibre Melted Baby Suri which I have bought previously and absolutely love for its vibrant colours, softness and quality. I would make a wrap with it using one of the gorgeous Loop patterns.
But I would spend hours just exploring the crafting possibilities on your fabulous website.
If I were to win a voucher I would use it to purchase the wool and pattern for the Borealis cardigan. It looks so cosy and the pattern is stunning. Many thanks and a Peaceful New Year to you all.
I have spent the last few years knitting Christening shawls and baby blankets, gloves and hats and slipper socks for new babies and old relatives. I would love the ENNESTE Naturally Dyed Embroidery Threads Box!
I would love to win this so that I can add to my wool stash
