A New Tiny Tassels Kit and More Wonderful Yarns!
There’s nothing quite as wonderful as a favourite yarn meeting a favourite pattern — except maybe that favourite yarn coming out in a new colour and bringing a whole new feel to a go-to piece.
That’s what happened when La Bien Aimée’s Cashmerino arrived at Loop in the new colour “Vintage Grellow”, a wonderful mix of warm tones with mellow summery and autumnal vibes. We simply could not resist kitting up our long-time favourite Tiny Tassels Shawlette in this incredible new hue. With two colour options for the sweet tassels that give this bandanna-style shawl its name, we might just have to knit more than one!
Tiny Tassels is one of those versatile pieces that looks great no matter where you wear it. We love the different feeling each of the yarns and colours we’ve knit it in brings to this shoulder warmer, and Vintage Grellow is no different. This will be a lovely companion for late summer sunset strolls and autumn apple picking or pumpkin patch excursions. Plus, it’ll pack perfectly as a WIP to keep you company wherever your travels take you this summer, whether that’s just the regular commute or if you have more extravagant adventures planned.
The Cashmerino Tiny Tassels Kit comes with a full skein of LBA Cashmerino and a cake of LBA Merino Singles with the perfect amount of yarn to make the tassels, plus a printed pattern and a cotton project bag. In addition to the two Vintage Grellow kit options, we’re all stocked up in the other four colourways of the Tiny Tassels Kit. And if you love Vintage Grellow as much as we do, it is also available in LBA’s Merino Singles and Merino DK bases.

A brand new shipment of gorgeous yarns has arrived all the way from the west coast of the US! Spincycle Dyed in the Wool has landed at Loop in a load of new colours, all gorgeous and ready to spark inspiration for your next knit. Because this 100% American wool is dyed before it’s spun, the colours meet in enchantingly spontaneous ways, always keeping the knitter guessing and leading to utterly unique knits. Whether you’re looking for something bold and bright or soft and sweet, there is definitely a Spincycle colour for you. Shawls, sweaters, and accessories all look fantastic in this great yarn!
And from the West Country of England we’ve also received some gorgeous wool. The latest arrival from our friends at John Arbon Textiles is a lovely box of Yarnadelic, a wow-worthy range of colours inspired by the founder’s eclectic record collection. Simply stunning on their own, these are also the colours behind our kits for the Soundwave Static Cowl, so more of those are available too! The richness and depth of these heathered colours really must be seen to be believed!
In addition to Soundwave Static Kits, we also have more of our Pinwheel Mitt Kits! A great knit with just the right amount of whimsy, we’re always happy when these are in the shop. Using two colours of Isager Highland Wool, the best-kept secret of this kit is that it actually contains enough yarn to make two pairs of these wrist warmers if you swap the colours around. Make a pair for yourself and a pair for a pal!
