Falling leaves and blustery days means that the wearing and making of cosy knits can truly start! We’ve certainly started to feel the nip of Autumn air in London, so we’re excited for the new chunky yarns that are coming to Loop. First to arrive is the Berroco Ultra Alpaca Chunky. Much like our popular Ultra Alpaca Aran, this Chunky version is a mix of fine alpaca and Peruvian wool. Soft and floaty, Quince & Co.’s new yarn Piper might make you fall in love with mohair in a whole new way. Blended with a 50% mix of merino this yarn has a smoother texture than brushed mohair with more stitch definition, but still a gorgeous halo.  With a range of pastel shades this almost lace weight is perfect for warm and light hats, jumpers and of course shawls.
