Delicious New Madelinetosh Colours (And Yarn Giveaway!)

We have some wonderful new colours from Madelinetosh: that gorgeous yarn company that hand dyes yarn, deep in the heart of Texas. Loop is proud to carry a vast array of colours and bases, including some bespoke colours created especially for Loop and a few new colours to join the Tosh colour palette.
The new colours are: Abiquiu, Gentle Monster, Harvest, Horoscope, Kenobi, Marfa, Not Sorry, Salt, Sandstorm, Smokestack/Optic, Snake, and Video Baby. Take a look at some of the new colours featured below.

New Sock Yarn At Loop ~ Twist Light
Madelinetosh‘s new sock yarn Twist Light is now at Loop. The yarn content is 75% super wash merino and 25% nylon, making up the perfect blend for a soft and durable, hardwearing sock . This generous skein of 384 meters (420 yards) per 100 grams is more than enough for a pair of socks or with two skeins, knit up a generous sized lacy shawl. It is hand dyed in small batches and our first shipment, of the new colours, is already at the shop. More colours will be arriving very soon!

New colours in Merino Light

Perfect yarn colours in Merino Light for a project that fades from colour to colour ( and speckle density! ) subtly or ideal for a gradient project.
Beautiful colours in Prairie

We’ve added 10 new colours to our already huge colour selection in this beautiful yarn. It’s one of our favourites. Prairie comes in a single ply, merino laceweight, perfect for shawls or garments. Soft and luxurious , the perfect weight for a summer shawl.
All of these beautiful new colours will be arriving in all of the madelinetosh bases that we stock in the next few months including Prairie, Merino Light, Twist Light, Pasmina, Vintage and Home! And in the Autumn we’ll be getting in Tosh DK to replace the Merino DK which has now been discontinued.
Loop stocks over 100 colours of madelinetosh including our bespoke colour ‘London Cosmopolitan’ as well as a favourite shade still dyed for Loop, ‘Olivia’.
See our website for a look at all the new madelinetosh colours!

So beautiful!!!! I love all your postings – inspirational temptations :)
The prize skein would work in so many ways for anyone especially good in a combination with a speckled yarn from the range to add depth to a project. The variation in the deeper colour would add richness without a solid heavy block which gives the freedom to use with brighter speckled colour way or as a rich standalone in a project.
The photos on the blog are excellent to see the new colours and I love reading the names of each one

I would choose Snake to complete the outfit of my Julie Arkell figure, newly but alas not yet completely dressed during a wonderfull workshop in the basement of Loop last Sunday. The colour would complement the orangebrown, beige and blue I already used, and the quality of the materials used! Would love to start this ‘fall-figure’ off as a family heritage piece for my little girl and her girls/boys to come :-)
Love MadTosh. Particularly like the ‘salt’ colour way, but that ‘snake’ sure is dramatic.

Normally I’m not fond of snakes, but this one looks lovely
Such lovely colourways!
You had me at Madelinetosh
Lovely colors!!
These yarns are really beautiful. Sometimes I like to go for really colourful yarns and sometimes for natural, earthy tones. These seem like a beautiful marriage of the two. win-win.
What IS it about MadTosh? Their colorways are so unique, so saturated, so…so…so hard to say “no” to!!
I’ve seen complex inky blue black before but never a green black version. Now I have to sift through patterns until I find the perfect match for Snake…I have until the end of the month!
Thank you for doing a giveaway!
Vivacious, effervescent, mysterious and radiant Snake, what a miraculous colour!
