Hello Stella Mitts!

Hello Stella Mitts!

Late winter always needs a little sparkle, and these low temperatures have us craving all things warm and cosy. Loop’s latest design delivers on both counts!

Stella Mitts in Mustard, Vintage Pink, and Oh La La

Earlier this month we introduced Fabienne Gassmann’s Cloud Cardigan, which she designed with Susan of Loop. Now they’re at it again with the superb Stella Mitts! Fuzzy, warm, and oh so sparkly, these mitts are just the thing to bring some brightness in the last few weeks of early sunsets, and we’ve made some perfectly portioned Kits for you.

With Jamieson’s Shetland Spindrift from Scotland, Silk Mohair from the Danish company Isager, and Kremke Stellaris from Italy, the yarns here represent a whirlwind tour of some of the most idyllic wintery locations in Europe. Plus, these exquisite yarns make for a luxurious feel and a fantastic look. These are some of our favourite yarns on their own, and together they just sing. We got very excited when we paired the wooliness of Spindrift with silk mohair, as it looks so beautiful and is an unexpected combination of yarns.

If we could spend all of February wrapped up in both the Cloud cardigan and these mittens, we’d be cosy and happy. We’re making more Cloud Kits next week, and the Stella Mitts launch today.

Our Stella Mitt Kits are available in three wonderful colourways. Mustard is an earthy tone, Vintage Rose is soft and feminine, and Ooh La La is a very chic black. Each kit comes with a printed pattern, a Loop cotton project bag, and all the yarn you’ll need to complete your mitts. We can’t wait to see you sparkle!

Flower Power in Art Nouveau

“Art Nouveau” is the latest colourway to join the Flower Power Kit family.

Mette Mehlsen has once again graced us with a stunning kit in her signature plant-dyed wools. The Flower Power Kit, which so many of you have seen and admired in the shop, is now available in a brand new colour, Art Nouveau. This new colourway combines a lovely, delicate, light pink base with jewel-toned flowers for a fantastic crocheted scarf. We also have stock of Flower Power Kits in Autumn, Spring, and Rococo. So much beauty!

Beautiful Bags

Tote bag fanatics rejoice: this week’s deliveries from Miyuki Matsuo and Nathalie Lété will have you jumping for joy! We are so in love with these gorgeous new bags. Nathalie has created more treasures from her whimsical world, including the Bremen Bag, based on the Brothers Grimm tale of the Bremen Town Musicians, and the Beloved Toys Tote, based on her own project of drawing pictures of the toys and stuffed animals that mean the most to her fans. Three of these sweet childhood mementos now grace the front of these totes. Joining the animal crew are the marvellous inventions of Miyuki Matsuo, whose Reversible Drawstring Bags are a fun accessory and perfect for toting knits and haberdashery along securely. These bags are available in four designs and two different sizes, and these kittens and cats will never be found tangling up your beloved wool!

Serious Snips

When it comes to cutting off loose ends, we’ve got all the playful yet practical tools to suit any taste. We are particularly enamoured of three new arrivals: Swordfish Scissors, Mini Bonsai Scissors, and Black Cat Snips. Simple and elegant Mini Bonsai Scissors are small enough to fit in the palm of your hand and super sleek to use. They’re perfect for projects on the go, but watch out — they’re so sharp! Newly arrived Swordfish scissors and Black Cat snips are adorable and perfect for yarns and threads. The Black Cat Scissors in particular have very short blades, so they’re really just for small jobs. Both sets are a darling way to top off any crafting kit.

Spring Stitch Marker Sets

All the joys of spring in our new stitch marker sets!

The sweet thematic stitch marker sets we’ve all come to love are back with a brand new design for spring! Birds, flowers, and leaves grace the Spring Stitch Marker Sets. Such cheerful little trinkets for your knits! We are all restocked in tons of other other lovely stitch markers as well, like the Woodland, Animal Family, and Garden Visitors collections.
