Teinture Sauvage Thread Sets for Loop
One of our most etherial collections is back in the shop — our bespoke boxes of Teinture Sauvage Embroidery Threads. These plant-dyed beauties are truly an expression of nature at its finest, from fibre to finishing touches. Absolutely nothing synthetic goes into these, just wool and natural dye materials. Even the boxes are printed using organic ink, with fully compostable packaging. It’s such an honour that Céline of Teinture Sauvage has curated this box of 20 threads just for Loop. They’re truly an exploration of all that nature and colour can do, and we hope they spark a creative journey for you, whether you’re stitching your masterpiece or just getting started.
Aitor Saraiba Kits
Beauties by Aitor! We’re so pleased to have some of our favourite Aitor Saraiba kits back in the shop. These specially chosen collections of materials are so special. They let you look at the world through Aitor’s eyes while also telling a story that’s all your own. The red and black versions of the Mini Quilt Swan Kit come with incredible Japanese fabrics, stuffing for your quilt, and threads for stitching. Whether you plan to incorporate your quilt into a larger piece of stitchwork or display it on its own, this kit is a blast to work with. Buaisou Sashiko Thread Twists
Last week we brought you the Sewing Thread Box from Buaisou. This week it’s a joy to share Buaisou’s individual Sashiko Thread Twists. These threads, which come in “thick” or “thin”, bring all the quality of a Daruma thread and the unique hand-dyed touch of Buaisou. The dyeing process behind these threads is one of the most complex in the world, and the collective behind Buaisou are the modern masters of the technique. The natural variation in the indigo dye makes these threads totally irreplicable. They’re totally gorgeous!
Be Happy Papier Mâché Box
Oh how lovely. The Be Happy Papier Mâché Box has so many things we adore: a design rooted in historical British design, excellent craftsmanship, and room for haberdashery! The print reproductions that adorn this box are based on Bilston and Battersea enamel boxes from the 1700s, and they’ve been expertly fashioned by Monahan Papers to look every bit as antique. Each box arrives empty, ready to be filled with all your favourite things — whether that’s embroidery needles, snips and buttons or earrings, rings, and necklaces!
Special Edition Loop Tape Measure
Our wonderful Special Edition Loop Tape Measure has arrived! It’s the perfect way to spruce up your collection of haberdashery with some colour! This design makes us so happy, and it’s a super practical tool as well. The tape locks as it’s pulled out and then it’s easy to re-wind at the push of a button. With inches on one side and centimetres on the other, it’s a breeze to use whichever measurement you’re more comfortable with!
