The Findley DK is made from quality Italian Merino mixed with 50% silk to give the softest yarn with a luxurious sheen. When knit, the silk content gives a lovely fluid feel making it ideal for drapey spring knits.

An elegant selection of patterns accompany the yarn to make the most of those gorgeous colours. Such as Madaket, a simple cardigan with a delicate lace pattern along the button band to suit any occasion.

Or Sankaty, a buttoned top with lovely shaping details and edged with lace.

Miacomet uses a pretty leaf lace motif for detail at the side seams, sleeves and back.

And the Nobadeer Shawl, which adds a sunshine pop of perfect colour!

We’ll have a few yarns popping into the shop in Spring like the beautiful hand-dyed lace and DK merino from Cowgirlblues… as always, we’ll keep you up to date on the blog so stay tuned!

Happy Knitting!

  1. Hi as an Australian knitter the ply of the wool would be helpful as that is the standard used here. Love the wool so much choice.

    • Hi Paddy,
DK is the equivalent of an 8 ply and has the suggested gauge of 5.5 stitches = 1 inch on size US 6/4.0 mm needles.
Hope that helps – Happy Knitting!
