New Wonders for the Most Wonderful Time of the Year
With one week left until Christmas, we’ve been caught up in the hustle and bustle of the holiday season in our lovely neighbourhood. If you, like so many of the visitors to Camden Passage, are in the market for some last-minute cheer—or just something to keep your hands busy during the Queen’s Speech or hours of Netflix—you’ll be delighted to see all the lovely goodies that have arrived in the shop!
We have two new kinds of needles from Addi in the shop: NOVEL Circular Needles and CraSy Long Double Pointed Needles. These needles are super ergonomic and help make stitches more even. Plus, they’re so comfortable to knit with—the textured surface really does make it feel easier! These are great for all knitters, but especially those who have problems with their hands. The CraSy Long DPNs are perfect for knitters with bigger hands, as the needle tips are a bit longer than other corded DPNs.
Christmas is a great time to bulk up your stash, and we’ve got some luscious yarns that are worthy of any maker’s gift list. We’ve received shipments of two of our favourites from Madelinetosh – Pashmina and Merino Light – as well as some brand new colours of Malabrigo Rios. Whether you’re knitting mittens, lace accessories, baby clothes, or trying your hand at colourwork, these delicious yarns will do the trick.
Fans of Sophie Digard’s and Julie Arkell‘s gorgeous creations will have many reasons to rejoice this season. A delightful new collection from each creator will be with us in the shop in the coming days, perfect for any last-minute gifts! Stop by the shop to see these new goodies.
Holiday Hours and Useful Information
We’re winding down to the last few shopping days before Christmas! We would love to see you in the shop as you run your final errands. You can read about the measures we are taking to ensure the safety of our staff, customers, and loved ones on our website. We will be closed for Christmas from Friday 31 December to Tuesday 4 January, reopening Wednesday 5 January. We will be open for click and collect orders ONLY on Wednesday 29 and Thursday 30 December. Please await the email indicating your order is ready to collect and give us a call on 020 72881160 before traveling to the shop, as COVID may affect our ability to open:

From 5 January onward we will be open as usual, 11:30-5:30pm Wednesday to Saturday, and 12 noon to 5pm on Sunday.
Please note that UK post has slowed significantly in the past 10 days. Royal Mail previously advised the last day to ship for UK delivery by Christmas would be this Monday, 20 December, but we cannot guarantee that items ordered online will arrive before Christmas. Last posting days for pre-Christmas delivery to the rest of the world have unfortunately passed, but we’ll happily ship for arrival in the new year!
