New Yarns for Autumn!
While we’ve been keeping you up to date with our book several exciting boxes have been finding their way to Loop! Who minds if the nights draw in and the days get colder when there are yarns this tempting to cosy up with?
Let us get you up to date with some of our newcomers!
Thank you for your patience as we dispatch your pre-order of Loop’s 10, the Loopettes are making sure each one is posted safely! We are working through pre-orders chronologically and it has been an amazing compliment as to how many we received. You will be sent a confirmation email the day we post your order. Thank you again for understanding
First up we have Woolfolk, which must be one of the softest merinos we have ever felt. Woolfolk yarns combine the highest quality wool with ethical, sustainable practices and each skein is the softest cloud of subtle colour. We have the 4ply Tynd and it’s marled sister Sno, along with the heavier aran weight Far which chainette strands make for the most bouncy of knits
Speaking of chainette, for those of you who love the warmth and lightness of alpaca there is Illimani Cadena. We can certainly see us whipping up several Christmas present cowls with this one when the time comes!
The beautiful gradient of Freia is now available as a bulky weight. Still a pure wool and the ombre is still just as magic.
We said goodbye to Eden Cottage Yarns Titus (there are still a few skeins left to grab in the sale) and have welcomed Hayton, a 4ply with a blend of merino, cashmere and a touch of nylon that we know you will love.
While our firm favourites of Madelinetosh and Shalimar have new colours! These are starting to arrive in all the bases we stock of Madelinetosh, so soon you can find a shade for every project.
And now we have a thicker weight of Shalimar too! The plump and squishable Shalimar Cush is a merino and cashmere blend for those heavier weight projects that need a touch of luxury.
A brief introduction to start with, but we will make sure we get you fully acquainted with them all very soon! We can even hint that we’ll be releasing something brand new from Brooklyn Tweed soon …
In the meantime, why not brush up on your needle tips by signing up to one of our classes? Our Autumn dates are scheduled with lots more being added in the coming weeks.
Plus, make sure you pop by the shop next Saturday (19th September) as artist Nathalie Lete will be painting our shop window in honour of our 10th Anniversary. We love Nathalie’s quirky and colourful folk style and are so excited to share this event with you. All are welcome to come watch this extraordinary talent from around noon. There will also be a pop up shop of special pieces she is bringing from her Paris studio.
See you there!
Happy Knitting and Crocheting!
Hi
I received your book yesterday when I came home from work and it’s every bit as beautiful as I thought it would be. Congratulations on your 10 years. Her’s to many more!
Thank you Tess! Happy knitting!
