Quince & Co

Quince & Co

We have all the colours of Quince & Co, that we got into stock, loaded on our web pages now. Not all the colours, have come in yet. Apparently, they can’t dye fast enough to keep up with demand. We’ll be adding them to our web pages as they come in.

Here’s Meghan wearing her Kouyou shawl knit in Chickadee, colour petal. All the Quince & Co colours are lovely and the yarn has great loft making it extra squishy and cosy! It knits texture and lace very well.

We also knit up Quince & Co’s Castle Pullover in Lark, their worsted weight yarn.

And we’ve knit the Annabel cardi in Osprey, which is a chunky Aran weight yarn.

It would have been nice to show this one modelled. I’ll try and get a picture of Susan wearing it.

This would be a great pattern for a first sweater project. I know that Meghan was knitting this sample while Rikki (a lovely customer and friend) was working on her first sweater of the same project. Rikki has made some great notes about it for beginners.

We choose our vintage flower buttons for the sample and decided to only put on the top three. It looks less formal that way.

I’m off to squish some yarn now. Cheers! ~ Juju at Loop

  1. Hello. I’m knitting this Annabel cardigan at the moment. I already knit it in stocking stitch rather than the garter stitch specified, because I’m knitting it in stripes, I’ve now ripped it all out, and am knitting it in garter stitch instead. The thing about this cardigan, is that it is so quick to knit, it doesn’t feel awful undoing all my knitting! I’m also knitting it in the Osprey yarn, it’s divine! I would love to see this being modelled, especially as your version has long sleeves, rather than the three quarter ones. Vanessa x
