Rico Baby Merino – Soft Sugar Colours

Made from pure merino wool and in the prettiest shades, our latest yarn from Rico is the beautiful Baby Merino DK. These tiny gems are just 25 grams, making them perfect for smaller projects like booties and hats.

Though a small selection of colours, this harmonious set can be striped and used in various combinations for the many adorable jumper and cardigan options from Rico. We are also smitten by the delightful scalloped edge on the label! Such a sweet little detail.

As well as providing an easy care baby yarn that is machine washable, the selection of patterns are suitable for beginners.  Baby garments are quick and an ideal way to practice techniques as they can be less daunting than a full sized jumper project.

You just need to decide which one to knit first. The little chap below is certainly wondering about a teddy to compliment his hat.

Plus we’ve also started our own little sample for you to admire in the shop. We went for the two neutrals of beige and pebble for this wrap top, but any combination would be charming – who doesn’t love stripes?
