Spring Into the New Season with Vibrant Hellebore Bandana Kits!
The Hellebore Bandana is the perfect piece for this time of year: warm enough to cover the days when it feels more like winter and playful enough to bring out in the brightness of spring. And just as the season changes, we’re bringing you some bright kit options to make this bandana your own!
With a garter stitch body and a super sweet and playful linen stitch stripe (there are very clear instructions for this straightforward stitch in the pattern), this bandana is a real charmer. This piece can span so many moods. It can be worn like a traditional shawl to look formal and pulled together or bunched up a bit and paired with something funky for a fun feel.
We totally adore all four of the new Hellebore Bandana Kit colourways we’ve made: Dusty Pink & Brick, Aqua Green & Sweet Kiss, Tibetan Sky & Dusty Pink, and Desert & Shine. All the yarns are mYak Baby Yak Medium, which is the base Soraya García designed this pattern for. Long-time readers will know we’re huge fans of all things mYak, so you can imagine how much we love the Hellebore Bandana!
Each kit comes with a Loop cotton project bag and two colours of mYak Baby Yak Medium: a full skein of the main colour and 10 grams of the contrast colour. The skein of main colour yarn is just enough to complete the body of the bandana, so make sure to check your gauge (and know that if you run out it’s ok to skip a row or two at the end of the shawl). The Hellebore Bandana pattern can be purchased on Ravelry.

Embroidery with Knots Masterclass with Adriana Torres
It’s always so special when Adriana Torres visits from Argentina, and we are so happy she will visit Loop for a day-long masterclass in embroidery with knots. Adriana has spent more than a decade adapting and perfecting the ancient technique of stumpwork as well as developing her own stitches, Japa Mala and Coffee Beans. This workshop will cover all of these stitches. Adriana and Loop will provide all the materials you’ll need: printed fabric featuring a design inspired by Adriana’s trip to Denmark, threads, needles, a handmade guidebook, and six hours of tuition. You’ll leave at the end of the day with all you need to continue your embroidery journey at home! Please note you’ll need to know how to embroider the stem stitch and the back stitch to take part in this workshop, and it’s best suited to intermediate and advanced stitchers.
Pop Spots Shawl Kits Back in Stock!
We’ve just made some more of our very popular Pop Spots Shawl Kits. This shawl was designed by Juju Vail for Loop, and our kit for it is a true labour of love and collaboration between us and three hand dyers: La Bien Aimée, Qing Fibres and The Uncommon Thread. The crescent-shaped shawl with pop-out spots and gorgeous lace border make a truly beautiful piece. The pattern has been slightly modified from the original to suit the yarns in this kit, The Uncommon Thread BFL singles, Qing Merino singles and La Bien Aimée Merino Singles. The kit includes a full skein of each yarn as well as a printed pattern and a Loop cotton shopper bag.
