Summer Sale and some Sneak Peeks!
Knit yarn while the sun shines! Grab yourself a bargain from our sale yarn selection, or top up your haberdashery and pattern supplies. We’re making room for all the exciting treats that are arriving soon, so stock up your stash before all these sale yarns are gone!
As knitters we like to be prepared with knits when the cold snap comes. Chunky wonders like Quince & Co. Ibis, Brooklyn Tweed Quarry and Woolfolk Hygge are ideal for quick one or two skein projects, thus sorting out your gift knitting in record time! Plus there is no feeling better than the cosy warm of a handmade jumper, especially when you finish them just as the summer is ending …
We also wave a fond farewell to Melange, which has been an excellent alpaca sport weight. Work out your favourite colour combination for your own version of our crochet blanket pattern Double Dutch.
A small selection of the fabulous Koigu is also on sale as some shades are being discontinued. When selecting your favourites from the drop down menu, the ones marked with a bracketed (D) are the sale shades we will no longer be stocking.
Or to really flex your sale muscle, dive into the rainbow coloured mountain that is Cascade 220! A true classic aran weight pure wool, all the solid and heather shades have been put on sale to make way for new exciting arans.
If everything seems, well, a little woolly for your tastes right now, there is the tropical beauty of Knit Collage Wild Flower. A ribbon yarn made from cotton voile, it’s floaty, fun and oh-so summery.
The Addi Lace Needles are also stepping down as we now stock the Addi Sock Rockets. Make sure you have spares of all your most used sizes as a very reasonable price – we can’t be the only ones who can never find extras of the size we need?!
For those of you who favour a long straight needle the KnitPro Nova will see you through even the most complicated projects with their smooth surface and lightweight handle. And then keep those seams in order when sewing pieces together with the Susan Bates Knit Clips. Of course we haven’t forgotten you crocheters, the cutest little kit from Clover gives you those small steel hooks, sized 0.6 to 1.75mm – which are also very handy when adding beads to your knits!
And it’s all on sale!
But don’t worry those shelves won’t be bare for long, and we thought it was only fair to give you a few clues as to what is on the way! Of course, when they do arrive, we’ll have more details (and giveaways) on the blog as always.
Speaking of giveaways, we have to announce the winners of last weeks competition! The winner of the Flower Power Scissors is Linda M and the winner of the Nickel Stitch Markers is Stacey Barbetta – Congratulations to you both! We’ll be in touch to let you know how to claim your prize.
Don’t worry if you didn’t win this time, both prizes will be available to purchase in the shop soon.
Happy Knitting and Crocheting!
P.S. Got five minutes to spare? Use them wisely and vote for us in the British Knitting Awards! The voting system is a short questionnaire where you can chose Loop to win best knitting shop in the South East. Thank you – and thank you to all of you who have voted already!
