What’s not to love about Madelinetosh Merino Light? Perfect for everything from hardy socks to delicate lacework, this yarn has earned a permanent spot in many stashes over the years.

We’ve been carrying Madelinetosh Merino Light at Loop for more than 10 years, and from the first moment it landed on our shelves it has been a gorgeous and reliable choice. And right now, while supplies last, it’s available at a steel of a price as we clear some colours and make room for more! An incredible 26 colours of this fab yarn are on sale right now, including “Short Court”, pictured above.

This yarn is really so versatile. You could use it to make our Toe Up Afterthought Heel Socks, put your own colourful spin on Florence Spurling’s Scout Shawl (we also have a kit for this shawl using Madelinetosh Merino Light), or add some bold stripes to a living room or child’s bedroom with Madelinetosh’s own Easy Peasy Blanket.

Laine 22 Preorder

The new issue of Laine Magazine is making its way to our shelves and is available to preorder now! Issue 22, Aalto, is named for the Finnish architect Alvar Aalto, and all the pictures were taken in the Paimio Sanatorium designed by him. Featuring 11 knitting patterns and loads of interesting articles and features, this is the perfect collection to transition from summer to autumn. We are totally in love with the Aika sweater by Megumi Shinagawa featured on the cover, which is knit in The Uncommon Thread’s Cloud Fingering. Super cosy yarn and an open lace pattern are the perfect combo as the evenings start to cool down and the earliest hints of autumn begin to arrive. We’re super lucky to have a lovely array of the always-enchanting Amirisu Magazine available for you! We’ve been huge fans of Amirisu right from the beginning.
