Welcoming Myrtil and Friends, Embroidery on Knits in Paperback, and New Yarn Colours!
It’s launch day for Cinthia Vallet’s Chez Myrtil! This hotly anticipated sequel to her first book, Mouche & Friends, is a toymaker’s delight.

We’re also delighted to welcome Judit Gummlich’s Embroidery on Knits in paperback. We’ve been huge fans of Judit’s work for ages and we’re still totally in awe of this incredible book. This introduction to embroidering on knits will help you add something special to your makes and elevate any other knits in your wardrobe, too. Judit shares her incredible talent and love of nature in 18 templates you can use to decorate your own garments. Each book purchase also includes digital downloads of the templates so you can resize them to your heart’s desire!

Our Wonderful Weekend with Aitor
We’re still glowing from a fabulous few days with Aitor Saraiba last weekend. From his book launch on Friday evening in partnership with Selvedge London Textile Month through his workshops on Saturday and Sunday, we had a really gorgeous weekend of creativity. Aitor’s book Embroider, Mend, and Sew was a huge hit, with our first two batches selling out! Luckily we have more in stock now, so there’s even more joy to spread. We also have more of our Loop + Aitor Special Embroidery Boxes available to preorder as we assemble all the gorgeous goodies that make these so unique. Our first batch sold out in hours, so preordering is a great way to make sure you don’t miss out! Aitor’s Snippet Roll Kit, Red & White Kit, Black Swan Mini Quilt Kit, and Stitched Little Bear Kit are in the shop too, if you want to try your hand at Aitor-style stitching.
We are just so grateful to Aitor for all the beauty he has shared with us over the years, and especially over this past weekend. He brings so much spirit to his work and to any room he’s in, and we’re honoured to be able to enjoy his brilliance!
