Introducing Woolstok by Blue Sky Fibres!

Introducing Woolstok by Blue Sky Fibres!

Here at Loop, we are long time fans of the lovely people at Blue Sky Fibres (formerly Blue Sky Alpacas). In fact, they were among the first yarns that we stocked when we first opened up shop, almost 11 years ago, making us their first ever stockist in Europe. So it goes without saying that we are more than a little excited to continue supporting them as they launch the new chapter of their story.

Woolstok Worsted by Blue Sky Fibres

We are very excited to introduce you to the first of our new yarns for autumn. The newest member of the Blue Sky family is the 21 colour strong Woolstok Worsted, which hit the shelves at Loop this week. This plump and bouncy yarn is made of 100% Peruvian Highland wool, and is incredibly light and soft to work with. Stitches fill out beautifully, the end result is rich in character and feels luxurious and lofty; the perfect mate to any project. If you want to learn more about the full story behind this wonderful new yarn, you can read all about it here.

  1. I am currently knitting the Cromwell sweater in Woolstok. It truly is a lovely yarn. It looks rustic, but it is squishy and soft. The stitch definition is impressive and being a worsted weight, it knits up quickly. Love this stuff!
