Susan and I made a special trip to pick up 10 copies of this extraordinary book yesterday. It has over 380 pages of the most amazing textiles, from Muhu Island, Estonia. Loop feature in Knitscene Fall 2011

  Fall magazines are coming in fast, with lots of great ideas for autumn knits. Get your copies of Interweave Knits and Knitscene while they last. This new pattern book by Gudrun Johnston, “The Shetland Trader” is a favourite at Loop. It has so many patterns that we want to knit. Most of us have our eye on more than one. I adore the lace cardi on the front, and would love to see it done in Madelinetosh Prairie, if it can make gauge. I must swatch!
