Each week on the blog this summer we have been revealing a little more about our anniversary book. There are a whole host of amazing contributors that have worked with us making a beautiful collection of yarns and patterns that celebrate ten years of Loop! This post, we’re finding out more from top shawl designer Kirsten Kapur and the talented gals behind DyeforYarn.
Two wonderful creatives, both based in Scotland, are the focus for this anniversary post. Our tenth anniversary book (due for release in September) will include the work of talented knitting designer Ysolda Teague and feature the most beautiful blue, created by Lilith of Old Maiden Aunt.
Quince & Co. capture the simple beauty of wool with a modern and fresh aesthetic. From their carefully sourced yarns to their comfortable and classic designs, we knew they’d fit right in at Loop. We’ve proudly been the European flag ship store for Quince and Co. for many years so it only seemed right that they were part of our 10th Anniversary celebrations.

Onto the next instalment in our series of 10th Anniversary blogs, where each week we’ll be revealing a little bit more about our new book, coming soon in September. A collaboration with ten of our favourite dyers and ten brilliant designers, this special project is a beautiful assemblage of all things Loop. This week we chat to designer and friend Meghan Fernandes and the talented Emily Foden of Viola yarns about their involvement with the book.
You may have noticed the hints we’ve been dropping on Instagram and here on the blog too about our 10th Anniversary celebrations – we’re so excited to share what we have planned! The big reveal won’t be until September, but over the next few weeks we’ll be sharing exclusive sneak peeks from Loop’s new book.
This week the blog has a slightly different look as today we want to hear from you! We are planning a redesign of our website so it is just as wonderful as the yarns we sell. To make sure all these tweaks and new features are the best solutions we would like feedback on your experiences (good and bad!) regarding the online shop. We feel it is really important to find out your opinions and involvement with the website so we can improve the site for everyone.
