Making Merry with Loop Winter Holiday Boxes
Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve may still feel impossibly far away, but there’s another “Eve” we celebrate around here: Loop Winter Holiday Box Eve. And good news — it’s today!
One of our favourite things we get to do each year is carefully select all the gorgeous treats for our Loop Winter Holiday Boxes, and we’re extra excited today because our preordered boxes have started to ship! Choosing little bits of wonder for the sheer delight we know they will bring is such fun, and it’s such an honour to know that through these boxes we get to be part of your holiday tradition.
This year’s Loop Winter Holiday Box is a veritable cornucopia of exquisite crafting goodies. From mini skeins of hand-dyed yarns (one of which is making its European debut in this collection!) to our favourite bits of haberdashery, this box celebrates everything we love about crafting, at our favourite time of year to craft! We’ve also included a special Loop Blue Dove Project Bag, new for this year, as well as a printed card with ideas for how to use your yarns.
There are so many ways to enjoy the Loop Winter Holiday Box. You could give the whole beautiful bundle to your favourite maker, surprise your knitting circle by dividing the lovely trinkets between them, or even treat yourself! While the pictures and descriptions here give you an idea of what’s inside, we’ll never show absolutely everything included, meaning there will be a few surprises in store.

Featuring a serene “dove of peace” carrying an olive branch and encircled by a wreath, our special bag is the perfect way to tote around your latest WIP this season while spreading the message of peace and hope.
More marvellous Minä! The artfully crafted beauties from Minä Perhonen’s studio are always a joy to receive. Each treasured piece of fabric brings its own little bit of magic into the shop, and we love to think about all the happiness that every last scrap will bring to the world. Our latest arrivals from Minä are sweet Small Circle Brooches, each adorned with a little motif of wonder, including a few featuring the studio’s signature butterfly design. Catch one before they all flutter away!
There’s more to love from Love It! We simply adore the fab haberdashery that comes out of this Amsterdam studio. The latest from designer Ingrid is the bright Pop Grid Pouch with a zipper closure and loads of personality. It’s the perfect size for keeping bulkier bits of haberdashery together, or even using as a project bag for a compact project like Pokeori Loom weaving or granny squares on the go. Honestly we’re even tempted to use it for organising everyday items to keep them together in a handbag. The bright colours will definitely make it easier to spot!
Winter is on the horizon, and Laine Magazine is leaning into the full depth of the season with their winter 2025 issue, “Borealis“. These are garments for clear dark nights, for bright trudges over snow-covered hills, for layering up and keeping cosy no matter how frightful the weather outside. Featuring 11 patterns, interviews with designers and artists, and much more, this issue will keep you warm all winter long! Preorders are open now ahead of the 5 December launch date.
Holiday Hours & Last Shipping Days
We’re getting so excited about all the hints of festivity cropping up around London and in our own sweet Camden Passage. As we get ready for the holidays, we’ve extended our opening ours on select dates in November and December. Next Friday 22 November we’re excited to celebrate the Angel Central Christmas Lights Switch On event, and we’ll be open until 6:30 PM. Then, during the following two weeks we’ll be open an extra hour and a half in the evenings, until 7pm on Wednesday the 27th, Thursday the 28th, and Friday the 29th of November as well as Wednesday the 4th, Thursday the 5th, and Friday the 6th of December.
We’ll also be closed for some days over Christmas and New Year to allow our staff to relax and celebrate. We will be closed on weekdays during the weeks commencing 23 and 30 December, but open the weekend of 28 December. We’ll be open as usual until Sunday 22 December and then again from Saturday 4 January. For more information on our opening hours and more, see our Visit Us page.
