As well as our usual selection of beginners knitting and crochet, there also are technique master classes to perfect your skills. Plus we are thrilled to have several designers including Melanie Berg and Cirilia Rose, passing on their secrets of knitting.

More exciting treats are arriving at Loop as we stock up our shelves for winter. As well as making sure we have plenty of all your favourites, we have lots of new yarns to welcome too. Brand new in the case of Madelinetosh’s Home, which is their latest yarn for 2014. Made from superwash merino, this yarn is deliciously soft and, just like home should be, comforting and cozy too! Its loosely plied strands give a subtle texture and adds to the delightful ‘squish’ factor of the yarn.

As well as making sure that Loop inspires you with the most beautiful materials, we also love selecting handmade delights.  From Sophie Digard’s scarves to Julie Arkell’s creatures, we know you appreciate the artistry and skill captured in a well made piece. This October we are thrilled to be part of the Selvedge Winter Fair, so we thought we would introduce you to a few special chaps before you meet them in person.
