The new-to-Loop La Bien Aimeé Merino Sport has made an appearance, and it is gorgeous! For now we’ve received five beautiful hand-dyed colours from Paris but we are expecting lots more in the coming days. The Merino Sport is a soft, three-ply superwash merino with a high twist that absorbs the hand-dyed colour so beautifully.

Her first book Slow Stitch is a beautiful book about the pleasures to be had from slowing down and valuing quality over quantity.

You may have heard we are re-opening our shop on the 1st of May, this coming Saturday! We are super excited to welcome you back and have been very busy getting ready for your arrival. We have some more detailed information for you about shopping with us in person at the end of this post. In the meantime, we thought we’d share a little round-up of some lovely new things at Loop to keep us inspired and creating through the next few months and beyond.

Exciting news today! We are launching several gorgeous new kits for some of the shawl designs in 52 Weeks of Shawls, the latest book from Laine Publishing.  Each kit will come with all the yarn you’ll need to knit your shawl, beautifully wrapped and with a Loop cotton project bag. And we’ve even given you a 10% discount on the total cost of the yarn.

Some beautiful new colours from Qing Fibre have arrived at Loop! Qing Fibre is the product of the creative visions of Layla (Qing) Yang. Layla’s love of eye-catching colour that ripples and changes with every stitch is evident in all of her bases. Layla has been dyeing yarn since 2016 and sourcing ethically produced fibres from Peru and England to hand dye in her London studio ever since. We love her yarns not just for the fabulous colours but also the incredible quality of the bases. We stock five of Qing Fibre’s bases, including Merino Singles, Kid Mohair Silk, Supersoft …
