We’ve recently added a new cotton yarn to our collection of plant fibres at Loop and we’re very excited to tell you about it! Krea Deluxe is a beautiful organic Danish cotton that is GOTS certified and produced in Europe. It is sown, grown, and harvested without the use of harmful pesticides, residues or artificial fertilisers, and other unnecessary chemicals. It is produced with respect and consideration for the environment, people, and animals. We have a new mohair silk blend yarn in store! Gepard are a lovely Danish brand, founded by Sus Gepard in 1989. Their Kid Seta is a great mohair silk that comes in 70 colours, and Loop is stocking all 70!
Last week a box filled with wonderful new Minä Perhonen buttons, brooches and fabric swatch packs arrived at Loop! We are so excited to have more of these amazing pieces at Loop, what an honour! Minä Perhonen’s fabrics are inspired by folktales, whimsy, drawings and a poetic mash-up of Japanese and Nordic aesthetics.
This week we thought we’d focus on two very beautiful shawls that we’ve been admiring at Loop! Cinnabar by Andrea Mowry and Beautiful Day by Nadia Crétin-Léchenne are very different in design but we’re head over heels for them both right now!
