Say hello to Loop’s newest yarn! The wonderful Tôt Le Matin yarn is hand dyed by Lauriane in Normandy, France. The phrase ‘tôt le matin’ translates to ‘early in the morning’, which we just love. We now stock Lauriane’s springy sportweight+ yarn, and this week we’re introducing you to it! We also have some background information on Lauriane and her love of colour.

We are so incredibly excited to show you the selection of brooches, buttons and fabric remnants from Minä Perhonen that Loop now has available! Minä Perhonen has been a favourite designer of Susan’s (owner of Loop) that has inspired her for many years now, so we are truly honoured to have these beautiful objects in the shop.

This week we’re so excited to tell you all about the naturally dyed yarns we stock at Loop! With summer upon us, we’re so looking forward to knitting up all these gorgeous colours into bright garments and shawls, or embroidering little motifs onto bags, jumpers and socks. We are also running a wonderful giveaway this week, so be sure to read to the end to find out what you can win and how to enter!

With summer finally here, we’re turning our needles towards summer knitting projects. We have a round up of some of our favourite tops, cardigans, shawls and bags here, with yarn suggestions for you too!

This week we’re showcasing two amazing designers we stock at Loop – All The Beautiful Linen and Kaliko. Both these companies are owned and run by very talented women, who make truly wonderful project bags. We also have our newest Meet the Maker film for you, which features the wonderful Paola Vanzo of mYak Tibetan Fibres, so be sure to keep on reading!

A new kit has arrived at Loop! Torhild’s Colours is a wonderful new pattern from Isager, and we have four different kits available. We’ll be talking about the kit this week, and showing you all the great variations we have.

Our new Meet the Maker video is here! We have a lovely short film for you this week where you can ‘meet’ Autumn Fussell (aka dottie angel), of Curious and Coe! A friend to Loop for years, Autumn has taught at Loop both in our London shop and at our NYC popup and designed the Rosemaling Mitts that grace the cover of our 10th Anniversary book. We hope you enjoy this peek into her incredibly inspiring world and atelier as well as hearing her story. And keep on reading as we have a pattern round up from the newly released Making …
