One of the final dyers who have contributed to our anniversary book is Koigu. Their one-of-a-kind colour ways are hand painted, capturing a little bit of magic and creativity in each speckle of dye. Now we have not one, but two custom shades to inspire new projects and colour combinations. All the contributors to our book have a significant connection to Loop and our next two interviewees are extra special as they were both once staff at the shop! Part of a legendary team of Loopettes, we chat to Claire Montgomerie and Rachel Atkinson, to find out more about their patterns that use the luxuriously soft Jade Sapphire Cashmere. As there are two designs, we have two new custom colours, ‘Oh Sweetie Pie’ a blush pink, and ‘Cloud Cuckoo’ a light moon blue.

From one of Loop’s favourite designers, Shawl Book One is a selection of Kirsten Kapur’s greatest shawl designs. Many classics (and some of her all time favourites) feature in this collection of gorgeous to knit and wear wraps, neck warmers, stoles and scarves. We caught up with Kirsten to find out more…

Loop is proud to be the European flagship shop for Quince & Co. and  just when we think we couldn’t love their yarns any more, along comes Owl. Lofty and light with a slight rustic feel, Owl is a cozy hug of alpaca and wool. Natural blends take centre stage with a selection from dark tweeds to snowy skies. When over dyed, these natural shades provide the heathered base of the pastel and jewel toned colours.

The Easter Bunny is paying an early visit to Loop as we get ready for the arrival of Spring! We have a whole warren of haberdashery and knitting treats inspired by our leporine friends for this Easter!
