Back in March 2020, as many countries around the world headed into their first lockdown, Nathalie Lété took on a project to recognise the importance of small objects in troubling times as a memento, in her description, of “these special days, where little objects, toys, and souvenirs become very important”.
It may not be winter yet, but with the clocks changing in London it certainly feels that way, and we’re giddy about all the things we have to look forward to. First of all, Andrea Mowry has a new shawl pattern out using Spincycle Yarns and we have not been able to get it off our minds.
Back in September we introduced the new Yarnadelic range by John Arbon Textiles and announced we were collaborating with designer Florence Spurling to create a special pattern using the yarn. Today the wait is over and we are so happy to welcome the Florence Shawl to the Loop family! Florence’s textile designs are absolutely to die for. She specialises in knitted textiles, embroidery and embellishment. Her studio celebrates traditional craftmanship and aims to incorporate skilled handwork into modern design.
