It’s time! In addition to our normal opening hours in the London shop, this weekend we’re taking Loop on the road up to the Edinburgh Yarn Festival, and you’ll find us at stand H1. We hardly ever do shows as the shop keeps us pretty busy, but we just couldn’t resist this one; we are so honoured to be there. We have been packing the boxes for the last few weeks, and we are very excited to show you what we have.

Next weekend at Edinburgh Yarn Festival we’ll be launching Andrea Mowry’s new cowl pattern kit ‘Across The Pond’, created in a special collaboration between Spincycle Yarns, Andrea and Loop, to launch at Loop’s stand at EYF! The first issue of Making, ‘Flora’, was released last summer and sold out at Loop many times over, and when the second issue ‘Fauna’ was released in November, it practically flew out the doors. Loop loves independent publishing and Making is one of our favourites; it’s a beautiful publication that we are more than a little smitten with, and we are absolutely thrilled that our Loop exclusive Orkney Angora ‘St Magnus’ in ‘Ghost’ is featured in the Arctic Cowl by Carrie Bostick Hoge.

With just three weeks left until the much anticipated Edinburgh Yarn Festival on March 10th and 11th, our excitement – not to mention the planning and the packing – is well underway. You might want to keep a pen at the ready as you scroll on down; here’s what Loop is bringing to Edinburgh!

We love keeping an eye on your Loop projects out in the wild, and lately there has been a lot of awfully cute and impressive little bears being made. A bear by the name of Otso.

A message from Susan: Last Sunday morning I decided to donate all profits from our London and online shop to the ACLU (the American Civil Liberties Union), an amazing organisation.

A good project bag is hard to beat. That’s a fact that every long term or hardcore knitter would easily stand by, but what makes a good project bag? Well, that’s something that differs as much as our tensions, but one that makes you happy to look at has to be a good place to start.

Hello 2017! Let’s say hello to new patterns and new projects. Hello new yarn obsessions, purposeful knitting and high quality fibres. Say hello to the beautiful 1ply Merino Fingering from Lichen And Lace.
