Sophie Digard Brooches At Loop

Sophie Digard Jonquille Velvet Brooch
Summer is blooming in London, and with it, our beautiful handmade Sophie Digard brooches are arriving too.

These sell like hot cakes, because they look so pretty on a shawl. They would also be great for dressing up a plain canvas tote bag or summer coat.
They’re handmade from velvet, linen and raffia with crochet and small bits of embroidery.

The flowers and buds are wrapped wire, so can be adjusted to tilt at different angles. They’re Approximately 6.5 x 9cm (2.5 x 3.5″) in size.
We also have Sophie Digard’s Alpine Duo brooches, which are made of linen and have small embroideries on them. These handmade beauties are exquisite.

Each of Sophie’s pieces are unique and handmade. The French designer creates striking wearable artworks using an extensive colour palette and up to sixty different threads- merino wool, mohair, linen and velvet to name a few.
Her exquisite flowers and petals are hand knit and crocheted into beautiful shawls, wraps, necklaces and brooches. The talented use of materials, detailed stitches and gorgeous colours make each piece unique and unrepeatable.
The linen shawls, all intricately embroidered in rich colours, make the perfect accessory to pack for a weekend away.

Along with these beautiful brooches, we carry a range of her necklaces…

…and shawls.

The shawls are made in her fine, light wools and linens, which are perfect for summer. Both are breathable fibres that will keep you cool and add a stylish layer to summer dresses.

We have a very large stock of Sophie Digard items in the shop. You can look at them all online, as we ship all over the world, but it’s wonderful to get an opportunity to see them in real life, where you can really appreciate the handmade details.

What beautiful work!
