The tradition of dollmaking is so so special. For many of us, our first encounter with handcrafts and the creativity they inspire was through the dolls we were given as children. And continuing the generations-old practice of creating playmates for the children (or grown-ups!) in our lives is one of the best ways we keep the flame of imagination alive.
Another season of Sophie Digard! Some may measure the passage of time in days and months; for us it’s whether we’re reaching for her linen collection or her merino line. And just as we’re starting to look towards autumn we’ve received a stunning assortment of scarves you won’t want to leave home without.
We have fallen hard for Re:Designed project bags and storage cases. My goodness do these folks know how to cater to the discerning crafter. And having two new project carriers in the shop this week has us giddy.
Summer has finally arrived, both astronomically and in terms of the warmer weather we’re finally having in London, and here at Loop all we can think about is flowers!
As we head into the final weeks of 2023, we’re reflecting on what a wonderful year it has been in our knitting shop.
