It’s difficult to fathom that we’re nearly at the end of 2025 — and yet the lights are twinkling, the wine is mulled and the gift lists are (nearly) ticked off. Soon we’ll be off to gather with loved ones, but before that, we can’t help but reflect on what a phenomenal year this has been.
Winter is a season that means so many different things to us. It’s a time of festivity, bright sparkly lights, and time with loved ones, and also a time of cosy evenings, early sunsets, and retreat. All these elements combine to make it a magical season for creativity, and we always spend winter falling even more deeply in love with craft!
With the new year on the horizon, we’ve started planning a fantastic lineup of classes for 2026, with some of our very favourite stitchers joining us in the shop. We can’t wait for another year of creative crafting!

About a decade ago, Sophie Ochera started an eye-catching line of knitwear with a bright, playful sweater that paid tribute to textile traditions while carving a totally new path. Now that sweater is finally available as a handknitting pattern for adults, and we could not adore it more.
