Most of the creators we work with are small businesses, and of course we are surrounded by lovely local shops in Camden Passage and on Upper Street in the beautiful neighbourhood of Angel in London. As the UK celebrates the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee and an extra special long bank holiday weekend, we here at Loop have been thinking about what makes the British Isles such a wonderful place to be. No surprise: for us it’s of course the amazing creators who make some of our favourite wools.

This week we’re celebrating two incredible yarns that have just arrived in the shop! Mominoki German Merino Light and Hue Loco Backyard Chicken Phyllis Sock Sets are hitting shelves and we’re so excited to welcome them to the Loop family!

The wait is nearly over for our long-anticipated weekend with Aimée Gille of La Bien Aimée and Sini Kramer of Laine Publishing, taking place next weekend on Saturday 30 April and Sunday 1 May. There is so much to celebrate — new books, great yarns, beautiful patterns, distinguished designers — and we are getting more excited every day!
