Kits

A new kit has arrived at Loop! Torhild’s Colours is a wonderful new pattern from Isager, and we have four different kits available. We’ll be talking about the kit this week, and showing you all the great variations we have.

This week we’re taking a look at some of our fantastic new kits that launched last week, as well as some new treasures that are in the shop now. Some of our kits are available to pre-order rather than purchase straight away; they were so popular they sold out over last weekend, but they will be replenished very soon!

We’re bringing you a short post this week, to tell you about a new kit we now have at Loop. The Harlequin Blanket Kit is brand new from CaMaRose, and we are so pleased to have it at the shop! CaMaRose is a favourite brand of many members of staff at Loop; the Danish brand is a lovely supplier of wonderful wools at very reasonable prices. They have a big colour palette with lots of beautiful shades. We stock the Yaku, Hverdagsuld and Lama-tweed, and the Snefnug, which has just arrived!

We are excited to announce that new kits for Mabel’s Sister are now available! Our newest kit uses Eden Cottage Bowland DK. This is a favourite yarn at Loop, so it was our first choice for another version of Mabel’s Sister. This special yarn is hand dyed in England and is 100% Blue Faced Leicester. It has a wonderful lustre, and is wonderfully soft and squishy once knitted.

Happy EYF weekend everyone, and say hello to Mabel’s Sister! This week we are launching the newest pattern at Loop, Mabel’s Sister, at Edinburgh Yarn Festival. We also have the printed pattern in our London shop, and online. This gorgeous cardigan has been designed by Fiona Alice, a former Loopette, especially for us. Fiona also designed our Mabel Cardigan, a sweet little baby cardigan. With the release of Mabel’s Sister, you’ll be able to match with your little ones!

This week we are so happy to announce our newest pattern at Loop – the Silvestre Mitts, designed by Skeindeer for Loop. The word ‘Silvestre’ is old Latin for ‘woodlands’. These luxurious mitts are knitted in Jamieson’s Shetland Spindrift, which is a lovely pure Shetland wool, with a 2ply spin. This is a favourite yarn of Eli, the lovely lady behind Skeindeer. This pattern is wonderful as it is for fingerless mitts or full mittens and from child to adult extra large sizes. Something for everyone! This week we have a stunning new crochet kit designed by Mette Mehlsen for Loop! This beautiful kit is comprised of Mette’s, naturally dyed wools and exclusive crochet square pattern. All the yarn is dyed using plants, which are mostly gathered from around Mette’s home on Jutland, Denmark. You can read more about Mette’s extraordinary dyeing in our previous post about her.
