With the holiday season winding down, January can seem long and dark. But with plenty of cosy hours for stitching and tons of time to dream up projects for the year ahead, it’s actually one of our favourites. And this year is especially sweet, with classes kicking off, old favourites back in the shop, and a sale on a very special yarn!

With 10 shopping days until Christmas, our minds are on our favourite things, like Qing’s incredibly soft bases, sweet haberdashery treats, gorgeous textile magazines, and lovely opportunities to get together and make things. We’ve also extended our opening hours to 11am to 6pm on all our normal days of operation before Christmas Eve. There’s more info about our opening times over the holiday season at the end of this post.

Oh my it’s been such a whirlwind of a week celebrating the launch of our Two of Daisies and Six of Daisies patterns. We’re still buzzing from Lindsay Degen’s visit to the shop and we’re so glad to see some of you already posting your progress.
