With 10 shopping days until Christmas, our minds are on our favourite things, like Qing’s incredibly soft bases, sweet haberdashery treats, gorgeous textile magazines, and lovely opportunities to get together and make things. We’ve also extended our opening hours to 11am to 6pm on all our normal days of operation before Christmas Eve. There’s more info about our opening times over the holiday season at the end of this post.
The holidays are here and we have the perfect thing for every stitcher on your list — even the ones who don’t know they’re stitchers yet!
This week we’re welcoming to Loop a brand new kit for the “Welcome to My Garden Mitts” and just like the winter bulbs they represent, they’re the perfect piece of joy to knit on a winter’s night!
This week we’re welcoming a stunning new addition to our coveted collection of The Uncommon Thread yarns. It’s fluffy, it’s alpaca, the colours sing, and it’s totally wonderful!

** Update: we’re very pleased to confirm that Clare Owen is now the proud owner of the Mystery Christmas Box. We matched her winning bid of £550 on Instagram to donate a total of £1100 to Médecins Sans Frontières. Thank you so much to everyone who bid on the box for such a good cause! With so much happening in the world today and with the holidays ahead, we’ve been thinking even more than usual about how we can give back. So as a treat for you — and most importantly to support a really fantastic organisation — we’ve put …

Oh my it’s been such a whirlwind of a week celebrating the launch of our Two of Daisies and Six of Daisies patterns. We’re still buzzing from Lindsay Degen’s visit to the shop and we’re so glad to see some of you already posting your progress. Meanwhile, the excitement never stops in the shop and we have so many wonderful things arriving that we just can’t wait to share.
The wait is over! Bright, brilliant daisies are marching into Loop in their twos and sixes and we couldn’t be more delighted with the colourful explosion in the shop.
If you’ve ever been to Loop you’ll know the first thing you notice is the sheer volume of gorgeous yarns from every corner of the world, but lately we’ve been feeling major love for some of our gorgeous crochet tools, and this week we’re giving them time to shine here on the blog.
